Hi, I’m Steve – a Series Director and Shooting Producer/Director with over 10 years of experience in unscripted television, spanning talent-led reality series to single-camera observational documentaries (and recently expanding into branded/social content)
I’m passionate about combining compelling narratives with strong visuals and always bring a practical, creative approach to every project. My career has taken me from filming large scale celebrity weddings in Italy, E Sports tournaments in Rio De Janeiro to filming Bjorn Ulvaeus at his luxury mansion in Sweden and I’m always keen to hear about new and exciting filming opportunities.
Throughout my career I’ve demonstrated versatility across a wide range of content excelling in storytelling, self-shooting and leading projects from concept to delivery. I've had the pleasure of working on series such as Paddy and Molly: Show No Mersey (BBC3), The Rap Game (BBC3), Tyson Fury: The Gypsy King (ITV) and Vicky Pattison’s Big Fat Geordie Wedding (E4) working closely with well-known sporting, musical, and reality talent. I also have experience directing crews and mid-weight multicam sequences, ensuring smooth execution on complex productions.
In addition to my work in reality I have extensive experience in documentaries including; Britain’s Strictest Headmistress (ITV), Hoarders (Ch5), They Lend It: You Spend It: The Loan Shop (Ch5) and Rich Holiday, Poor Holiday (Ch5) identifying emerging storylines and capturing compelling single cam sequences loved by the edit. I can confidently work with with a wide range of contributors and subject matter understanding the emotional depth that brings these stories to life.
